All Saints’ Cathedral Church (ASC) is the Provincial Cathedral of the Anglican Church of Kenya and the Diocesan Cathedral of All Saints’ Cathedral Diocese in Nairobi. The Cathedral has a rich history dating back 105 years since it was established in 1917. It is a landmark house of worship, attracting a diverse and cosmopolitan congregation that represents the social, economic, and political diversity that exists in Kenya.
The Cathedral is strategically positioned within the City of Nairobi with its main sanctuary preserved as a national monument and therefore a “listed building” registered under the National Museums of Kenya in the Ministry of National Heritage and a key facility for national celebrations. This national positioning exposes the cathedral to interaction with political, economic, and socio-cultural issues at the local, national, and international levels. This is attested by its membership, diverse stakeholders, the number of visitors who frequent church services within the year, and the strategic engagements it assumes across the spectrum
