In 2005, after relocating to Nairobi, Pastor Julius established the Salem Learning Centre, a school that would soon serve as the cornerstone of a larger mission. Following the 2007 post-election violence in Kenya, many children were left orphaned, abandoned, and in desperate need of care. Responding to what they felt was a divine call, Pastor Julius and Tabitha decided to expand their mission, leading to the establishment of the Salem Rescue Centre. The centre quickly transformed into a refuge, offering safety, love, and hope not only to the initial three children but also to many others seeking care and support.
