FSJ
Fsj is simply an abbreviation for Freiwilliges Soziales Jahr, Which in English means voluntary social year. Germany is a wonderful country that offers an opportunity to all nationalities aged between 18 years to 26 years to participate in voluntary social service to society. This program is empowered by the German government to help the youth gain practical experience, develop skills and contribute positively to society. All participants are required to have a good understanding of the German language in both hearing, speaking and writing. So having a valid B1 certificate from Goethe Institute or Telc is an advantage for a candidate to be chosen to participate in the program.
