Detail description about your listing
This site has been in development for close to 2 years, mostly because I have been working to perfect the details. However, I recently realized that the site will only ever be perfect once I am dead, hopefully at 87, because only then will things stop changing. So, to avoid missing out on the beauty or mess that this can be, we shall do it imperfectly!
I am a human rights lawyer, humanitarian and gender rights activist. I have an LLB, Ongoing post-graduate in Trial Advocacy and an Ongoing Masters in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid. I also have numerous certifications in various subjects of interest. I am currently based in Juba, South Sudan.
Wanjiku Ngugi is a space where I share my experiences with the hope of reaching out to young people from a point of resonance. It hosts my personal blog where there are less-formal entries relating to career development and general life issues. It also hosts my professional work, where I write about conflict and peacebuilding, its nexus to gender and women rights, advocacy, and other legal and human right topics. Wanjiku Ngugi also features an aspirational Podcast that is still in development.
